prison break is back if you read

Prison Break - 301 - Orientacon

Prison Break is back! If you read a previous post of mine, you would

know this is my favourite TV show! To make things more awesome, it has

gone back to its roots. I didn't enjoy the man hunt theme of last

season, and am glad it is now set in a prison again with a break out

imminent. The fact it is set in another country's prison (Panama),

ensures it will not be too similar to season 1.

The episode resumed practically where the show had ended from last

season. Michael, along with Mahone, T-Bag, and Bellick have been

dumped into the Panamanian prison, Sona. It opens with a brutal,

muddy, and bloody duel in the rain, confined by a ring of cheering

inmates, until only one combatant are left, making the survivor, the

victor. Quite an opening, which really sets the tone for the new

prison, and lets you know straight away that this is going to be a

much harsher environment than Fox River.

I won't go into the specifics any further, as you can read it further

down from an official source. The situation Bellick is in now, is like

karma at work, bringing him back down from his previous selfish sins.

So far I like the new characters, and the fact even though they don't

have guards or rules anymore, the inmates have formed their own rules

and legal system, even if they are very harsh. Another reason to

escape other than the obvious has already arisen in the form of a

mysterious man in the sewers named Whistler. I can't wait to see what

plan Michael comes up with, and there is great potential for him to

collaborate with Mahone, who also has a brilliant mind. The wait for

the next episode is painful, just like it always was for me with the

first season! Below you can read an episode summary, followed by a

link to the official, in-depth, episode recap.

Now locked up in a Panamanian prison known as Sona, Michael, T-Bag,

Bellick, and Mahone try to find a way out. Much to their devastation,

they soon find out that the prison has been abandoned by the

authorities because of the immense threat from the vile inmates.

Michael seeks for an inmate named Whistler in the prison sewers.

As Lincoln is puzzled by Sara's sudden disappearance, he learns that

LJ has gotten into some trouble.
